Once Upon Water art residency had it’s debut in 2017 on Pico Island (Azores), and continues to take place each year in a different community, including at Artscape Gibraltar Point, Toronto Island (Canada). Each location offers unique inspiration and context for residency artists. The residency is a project of Arts Unfold, which produces art and design projects in Canadian and European communities to foster greater understandings of social and environmental conditions.
